This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal data when you use our websites, apps, learning platforms, or attend our online/offline programs (the “Services”). By using the Services, you consent to the practices described here.

What laws apply

We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules (including SPDI Rules), and other applicable Indian laws. If you access from outside India, local laws may also apply.

Data we collect

  • Account & contact: name, email, phone, address, organization, role.

  • Learning data: enrollments, lesson progress, quiz scores, assignments, certificates, support chats, forum posts, session recordings.

  • Payment data: transaction IDs, partial card details or UPI reference (processed via payment gateways); we don’t store full card/UPI credentials.

  • Device & usage: IP, device/browser type, cookies, pages viewed, time on page, crash logs, referrers.

  • Communications: emails, WhatsApp/Slack/Discord messages (as applicable), feedback, surveys.

  • Media: photos/videos recorded in classes, events, or webinars (with notice).

  • Children: we define a child as under 18 (per DPDP). We seek verifiable parental consent where required and avoid tracking/behavioral advertising for children.

How we use your data (purposes)

  • Create and manage your account; deliver courses, projects, certificates.

  • Give tech support, send service notices, schedule classes.

  • Personalize content, track progress, provide assessments.

  • Process payments, prevent fraud, meet tax/accounting obligations.

  • Improve courses and platform; analytics and product research.

  • Marketing (only with consent)—newsletters, offers, success stories.

  • Legal compliance and enforcement of our Terms.

Legal bases / lawful uses

We process data based on: your consent, performance of a contract (to deliver the Services), compliance with law, and legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act (e.g., security, fraud prevention, network/IT maintenance).

Cookies & similar tech

We use cookies and pixels for:

  • Essential: login, security, session continuity.

  • Analytics: understanding usage (e.g., Google Analytics).

  • Marketing (optional): ads measurement/retargeting (e.g., Meta/Google).

You can manage cookies in your browser settings and opt out of analytics/ads where tools allow. Essential cookies are required for the site to function.

When we share data

We share data with trusted service providers under contracts, for example:

  • Hosting/CDN & email: cloud providers, email/SMS gateways.

  • Video & collaboration: Zoom/Google Meet, Slack/Discord/WhatsApp.

  • Payment processing: Razorpay/Stripe/PayPal (as applicable).

  • Analytics/ads: Google, Meta, etc.

  • Compliance: courts, regulators, or law enforcement when legally required.
    We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Our vendors may store/process data in other countries. We use reasonable contractual and technical safeguards and share only what’s necessary for the stated purposes.

Data retention

  • Account & learning records: while your account is active and for up to 24 months after inactivity (or longer if needed for disputes or legal claims).

  • Financial/transaction records: as required by Indian tax/accounting law (typically up to 8 years).

  • Session recordings/communications: for quality assurance, support, and training—retained no longer than necessary.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege, logging). No method is 100% secure; please protect your credentials and report suspected misuse.

Your rights (DPDP Act)

Subject to law, you can:

  • Access your personal data we hold.

  • Correct or update inaccurate data.

  • Delete data that is no longer necessary (or withdraw consent where processing is consent-based).

  • Grievance redressal if you are dissatisfied with our response.

  • Nominate an individual to exercise rights on your behalf (where applicable).

Children’s privacy

For learners under 18, a parent/guardian must consent to data processing and platform use. We do not use behavioral advertising or track children across services.

Recordings & publicity

Classes/webinars may be recorded. By participating, you consent to recording and limited sharing with enrolled learners. With your explicit consent, we may showcase projects or testimonials on our website/social media.

Third-party links

Our Services may link to external sites we don’t control. Their privacy practices apply on those sites.
